A bit of good library news. Simon Bartram’s local library in Gateshead has just re-opened after a ¬£2.5 million redevelopment. It’s brand new children’s library is now home to a few of Simon’s illustrations from Bob’s Best Ever Friend in supersize on the walls. Libraries are an important resource for children and adults alike and stories are there to be shared.

Simon did some smashing Bob events for the opening weekend and here are some pictures of the finished library, can you spot the aliens?
