Anna Cher
A passionate floral and animal painter, Anna enjoys experimenting with confident brushstrokes, multi-layers and vibrant colours. Her aim is to find that delicate balance between the energy of mark-making and the perception of reality. She paints with acrylics, often using a palette knife which allows her to work quickly without overthinking, keeping her paintings immediate, fresh and energetic.
Anna studed fine art before coming to the UK to study at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge where she completed their MA in Children's Book Illustration. You can view Anna Chernyshova's children's portfolio is here.
