Many of our artists are used to promoting their work directly to their readers. Simon Bartram is wonderful to watch when he reads his own stories to enraptured children at bookshop events like this one, that Waterstones hosted in Hull. The children love to spot hidden aliens and get involved in drawing them with funny pants on, Simon joins in by wearing his own Bob pants for the occasion. He loves to meet Bob’s fans and hear their feedback and listen to their ideas, after all they’re the ones that matter. To check out his future appearances look on his website for dates.
