Last week readers of The Bookseller were treated to a preview of Alex T Smith‘s forthcoming book, Egg.
Egg, which was also penned by Alex’s fair hand, takes¬†the classic something-hatching-out-of-an-egg premise to “new, surreal heights”. Also noted is Alex’s ability to make the reader “laugh out loud” and how his “illustrations burst from the page” which combined, make him “definitely a name to note”!
Egg is Alex’s fifth picture book to date and is due to be published in October by Hodder Children’s Books.
