Arena had the privilege of supplying some science fiction images from our archive to the British Library for use on the exhibition design in their new show – Out Of This World. The launch event was officialy opened by China Mieville and the exhibition showcases some of the British Library’s rare collection of books and manuscripts, as well as film excerpts, artwork and alien sculptures. We went along to the opening night with Fred Gambino who’s work adorns the exhibition display, alongside other Arena artists from our archives; Tony Roberts, Philip Hood, Angus McKie, Peter Gudynas, Bob Fowke and Peter Goodfellow.
