We are delighted to announce the release of Angel’s Great Escape, the first storybook app by And So We Begin, with festive illustrations by Kristyna Litten.
The app tells the story of Angel, and her decoration friends Fairy, Reindeer, Snowman and Teddy who live at the house of Mr Mean and his son. The friends know that they belong with the Good Family who live across the road, so they devise a plan to escape. Children can tap, drag and swipe to help the friends on their journey and if you’re lucky you may even be able to throw a snowball or two along the way!
Kristyna worked closely with Kirstie Rowson, founder of And So We Begin and author of Angel’s Great Escape, to develop all the characters, as well as the elaborate background scenes so that everything could spring into life. This is Kristyna’s second app, having illustrated Michael Rosen’s poem The Talent Show for the StoryCloud app project with Discover this summer.
With narration by none other than Alan Titchmarsh, Angel’s Great Escape makes for a cosy Christmas app, perfect for bedtime stories with your little ones.
