Tolkien’s The Hobbit. The first film, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, has now been released. John also worked on Jackson’s Lord of the Rings Trilogy and he has been synonymous with Tolkien’s fantasy works throughout his long career, illustrating most of his books.
