Good Bubble is a new range of natural bath and shampoo products for children; made from superfruits, rich in nutrients, free from harsh chemicals and kind to the planet. Kristyna Litten was asked to design Good Bubble’s visual identity and create characters for the Dragon Fruit and Cloudberry packaging. She worked closely with Amy Wordsworth, the mastermind of this family run business. She started off by producing ideas and character sketches, inspired by the mood boards that Amy had created in Pinterest.
The two superfruits used as key ingredients in the products, became fun characters designed to appeal to girls and boys between the ages of four and ten. ‘Dragon Fruit’ is grown in Mexico, Central and South America and is known for its moisturising and protective properties. Kristyna developed Dexter Dragon Fruit, a ‘dragon-like’ reptilian character similar to a chameleon or gecko with a colour palette of fiery reds and oranges. ‘Cloudberry’ is native to Nordic countries and the Baltic states, also know as the Tsar’s berry as it was once fed to the royal table in Russia, it’s rich in vitamins and is know for it’s antioxidant and strengthening properties. Kristyna designed Clara Cloudberry, a winged, fairy-like creature using cool colours such as blues and turquoise for an Arctic feel. With feedback from a focus group, she developed the designs further until Amy felt that they reflected her company’s core values: to be kind to your little ones skin and kind to the planet.
Free from parabens, sulfates, PEG and artificial colours, the Good Bubble bath range come in 100% recyclable bottles and will be on sale in shops and online soon. In the meantime, check out the GOOD BUBBLE website which includes a fun play area with puzzles and colouring in.
