We welcome artist Beverley Coraldean to the Arena family - we love her bold and decorative linework integrating hand-rendered lettering and images seamlessly together.
We're sure Beverley's work will appeal to a broad range of clients including advertising, design and packaging clients, as well as publishers for book covers. She is inspired by her love of life, nature, urban cityscapes and fantasy. Her clients range from greetings card designs for Scribbler to large scale mural commissions for offices and public spaces including this mural for the CDW offices in Chicago, which was shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2021.
Beverley say about her work:
"I like to use a combination of architectural perspective drawings, detailed cityscapes and hand drawn type to explore my love for cities and this style often materialises in the form of screenprinted posters, comic books, murals, hand-drawn maps and illustrations for the advertising, publishing and local heritage sectors. An initial degree in Games Art from Norwich School of Art and Design inspired me to develop new worlds and environments, but I’ve found both the hand-drawn design process and traditional method of screenprinting aid my inclination to work manually, to focus on detail and lose myself in the act of creating places from imagination and memory."
With over 10 years of illustration and printmaking experience, Beverley runs her own stationery and gift business called Geneality Art selling her beautiful designs using sustainable materials. She works from her back garden studio in Norfolk alongside her trusty sidekick, Alfie the Schnauzer.
